This was our pic from the Bali trip that we did in June last year. This is the resort we are staying at, with our own pool, behind me is the chalet that we are staying at and the other side is the outdoor bed and dining table.
Bali was just ok for me. You can find almost the same thing in Kota Kinabalu. But of course, you pay almost half the price for the same royal treatment if you go to Bali.
Check out our pics website to see more.

We were in KL to attend Jeremy's unimate's wedding. They were housemates before when he was studying in London.

That trip to KL, we spent quite a bit of time in IKEA buying things for our kitchen. All this while, our wet kitchen is outside the house, in the open. And of course, many times, my own dear cook...Jeremy will be feeding mosquitoes at the back when we have the time to cook dinner at home. Dont know for some reason the mosquitoes loves him more than me...hehehe..aren't we compatible?

And finally, we got our kitchen walled up. Yeah!! We have not done the kitchen cabinets yet, but everything else is in place. When we first move to our new house, we have a lot of the same thing, i.e. 2 refridgerator. I keep on thinking of selling both of them away, and to buy a big one to be put in the kitchen. But now, I think it works very well for us. One fridge sitting in the dining area to keep our drinks, junk food, tomato sauce, etc...and another one sitting in the kitchen area, to keep vegetables, meat, etc. I need to make a note to take photos of our house.

This dress in the picture, I made it actually for our wedding, but didnt get to wear it. It was quite a nice one, and the tailor (Blue Green in Miri, on top of Jackson Motor) made it almost exactly like the picture that I got from the internet. Am actually thinking of going there to make a few more dresses.

Me, Jeremy and an astronaut in Houston. We managed to spend our weekends with my brother's family while we were there. They are growing fast...

This is LOOOOONG overdue, but here are some pics from our Houston trip. We had a wonderful time there...and Jeremy bought me a PSP. And of course, now its sitting in my bedside drawer, waiting to be switched on. Well, we did use it quite a bit on the plane, or while waiting at the departure hall....Oh, I will have to share some of our photos during our Bali trip in June too.

Houston was ok...and shopping in the US is wonderful...they have everything that you could think of. I bought a few (5) pairs of shoes....2 very nice pairs from NineWest for RM200. Each pair costs around RM400-500 in KL. But Houston is a huge place...very flat land...and everything is big. The thing about a big city is we cant have the quality of life that we are enjoying now in Miri. Close the office, and enough time to exercise and rest....wonderful.

The first pic was Jeremy at the Houston Downtown Aquarium. 2nd one is at the NASA Space Center.

That's us and my niece Caroline putting up our first Christmas tree as a couple..yea! We had 1 big one, and 1 small one. Putting up the Christmas tree was fun. But taking it down, errmm..it took me more than a month to take everything down, and to put them in a box and store them away. Hehehe...I think I only took it down after Chinese New Year...but well, its ok to have Christmas all year round.

Alot has been happening since our wedding day. A few more other friends got married. We were very much involved in helping Anson and Siew Yee during their wedding in Kuching. But honestly, its easier to manage other people's wedding that our own. Less stressful, and we get to go around Kuching with Chia Yee and Jeff and eat non-stop. Kuching pork satay is scrumptious.

We have not gone for our honeymoon yet, but God took care of that. My boss scheduled for me to fly to Houston to attend a workshop and spend around 2 weeks there. And guess what, 2 days later, Jeremy's boss told him that he wants Jeremy to fly to Houston and spend 2 weeks there....and of course...in His perfect timing...we will be in Houston for the same time period.

So here we are, at the moment, spending 2 weeks plus in Houston shopping, spending time with my brother's family here, and just lazing around in the hotel room after work. We go to work at around 7 in the morning, to different offices, and we will be back in the hotel at around 5-530pm. The hotel provides free snacks and drinks from 430pm - 1030pm, so normally we'll spend some time at the lobby to eat chips, nachos and popcorn before we decide on what to do for dinner. It gets dark at around 8something here, so we get to walk around the Galleria area (where all the expensive shopping is located), and window shop.

Well, our hotel is right next to 2 very big electrical store, so I am still weighing whether I want to get the PSP or not. Its so cheap here compared to Miri. And guess what....I bought 2 pairs of Nine West shoes for USD60 and thats just Rm 200. Jeremy bought dockers pants and levi's for 26-30USD...very good bargain...but everything is made in China...so, I was surprised why is it cheaper here than in Msia..when the transportation fee should be cheaper for them to transport the items to Msia.kekekeke

Will write more soon.

The wedding reception area. Jeremy and I went to my uncle's place to get all the branches ourselves for the aisle. Thanks Uncle Julong for going with us.

Jeremy and Jeff, waiting for the bridal party to arrive. We made their vests like 2 weeks before the wedding...hehehe, quite last minute. We were not sure if it will look good or not, but yeah..it was perfect for the red and silver theme.
